The Zaanse Schans Audio Tour · version 1, October 2026

In short

1. Who we are

The Zaanse Schans Audio Tour is made by Dutch Discoveries, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number [number], [address]. Questions? Email us at [contact email].

2. What you buy

You buy digital access to the full audio tour: all stops and windmill stories, the read-along texts, the tour map and the Fun Facts. The first 3 stops and the detours are free for everyone. The price is shown before you pay and includes VAT.

After payment the tour opens right away on your phone, and you get a personal link to open it on other phones. Access lasts 30 days from the moment of purchase, so you can do the walk on any day within that period, or listen again afterwards.

3. Sharing with your group

Your purchase is for you and the people you’re visiting the Zaanse Schans with: your family, friends or travel companions. You may send your personal link to them, so everyone can listen on their own phone.

The tour is for private use. Are you a tour guide, travel agency, school or other organisation bringing groups? Then you need a group licence. Please contact us, we’re happy to make you an offer.

4. What isn’t allowed

The texts, audio recordings, map and photos of this tour are protected by copyright. Without our written permission, you may not:

5. If these rules are broken

If we see that a personal link is shared publicly or misused, we may block that link without a refund. We may also claim compensation for the damage this causes us, such as lost sales and the reasonable costs of stopping the misuse, and take further steps under Dutch copyright law (Auteurswet).

6. Right of withdrawal

For online purchases you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the tour is digital content that opens right away, you ask us at checkout to start immediately and you confirm that you then lose this right. Without that confirmation we cannot open the tour straight away.

7. If something doesn’t work

We test the tour carefully, but if something doesn’t work as described, tell us at [contact email]. We take every visitor seriously and will look for a solution. Your legal rights as a consumer always remain.

8. On the walk

9. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the tour available at all times, and you can save it on your phone for offline use. We are not liable for indirect damage. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the tour, except in case of intent or gross negligence on our part.

10. Other

We may update these terms; the version that applied at the time of your purchase applies to your purchase. Dutch law applies. If there is a dispute that we cannot solve together, it goes to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you the right to go to a court in your own country.
